5 Cystic Acne Tricks You Probably Don’t Know About

  • Oftentimes, doctors might prescribe antibiotics for cystic acne, but we highly suggest avoiding this route. Taking an antibiotic every day can completely disrupt all the good bacteria in your gut. Having a gut of healthy bacteria is key for clear skin, which is why taking a probiotic is a much better alternative. 

  • Hydrate your skin 

  • We often associate acne-prone skin with greasy skin. While this can be the case in some instances, in others, overly dry skin can be what is upsetting your skin the most. Dry skin is often irritated and not in balance with your skin’s natural oil production. 

    Ideally, your skin should feel hydrated, but not greasy. To do this, it’s important to use a moisturizer every day, twice a day, even if you think you have oily skin.
